Overview
Ruan Mei creates an Overtone field with her Skill that increases Break Effect and delays enemy action. Her Ultimate buffs all allies and increases Weakness Break efficiency. She makes Break teams viable.
How to Play
Use Skill to deploy Overtone at the start of combat. Overtone increases all allies' Break Effect by 50%+. Use Ultimate before your Break DPS enters their burst window. Keep Overtone active at all times — refresh with Skill when it expires.
Optimal Rotation
Ruan Mei Skill (Overtone) → Ruan Mei Ultimate (team buff) → Firefly enters Sam → Break weakness for Super Break → refresh Overtone → repeat. Ruan Mei should act before your Break DPS every cycle.
Strengths
Mandatory for Super Break teams. 50%+ Break Effect boost is irreplaceable. Works with any Break DPS. Delays enemy actions for safer runs.
Weaknesses
Niche outside Break teams. Less valuable in CRIT or DoT compositions. Requires specific teammates to justify a roster slot.
Investment Priority
E0 is essential — pull if running Firefly. Build SPD and Break Effect. Memories of the Past S5 is a solid F2P cone. Level Skill first for Overtone uptime.
