Overview
Hook is a 4★ Fire Destruction from Jarilo-VI, playing Main DPS in most teams. Fire Destruction single-target DPS with Burn stacking and Enhanced Basic Attacks.
How to Play
Hook trades HP or setup turns for explosive damage. Weave Basic Attacks between Skills to charge Enhanced states, and avoid wasting Ultimate before Weakness Break. Focus fire one elite or boss target; spread only when adds must die fast.
Optimal Rotation
Turn 1: Hook Skill to enter Enhanced state → Basic Attacks to stack HP loss or charges → Ultimate on the boss Break window. Do not burst before Weakness Break unless the phase is ending.
Strengths
Hook excels in Fire Destruction teams from Jarilo-VI. High personal damage when relics and Light Cone are online. As a 4★, they punch above their rarity with the right investment.
Weaknesses
Hook needs setup turns and can drain team HP — pair with a healer or shielder before pushing high MoC floors.
Investment Priority
E0 Hook clears story and Simulated Universe. For Memory of Chaos, level talents to at least 6/8/8, farm recommended relics from their build page, and hit Speed breakpoints with SPD boots. Max a 4★ Light Cone at S5 before chasing Eidolons — duplicates are cheaper and scale well.
