How StarPatch ranks characters
We weight Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and comfortable story/SU clears at roughly equal investment. Vertical investment (eidolons and signature cones) can move a character up a tier on whale accounts, but rankings assume realistic F2P or low-spender builds unless noted on the character page.
- S-tier: defines a team archetype or clears efficiently at low cost
- A-tier: strong specialists or flexible supports
- B/C-tier: workable with investment or outdated for current cycles
How to use the list without overspending
Pull for missing roles first. A mid-tier DPS with the right support and sustain often outperforms an S-tier DPS with no team. Always open the linked build page before farming relics — wrong main stats waste weeks of Trailblaze Power.
